This small instrument \u2013 an inner-outer type \u2013 may have a Roman provenance. It has come with two 8\u2019 stops, but it still bears the traces of the 4\u2019 pins. Apparently, the latter was never carried out, as proven by the soundboard ribs that were cut out only in correspondence of the 8\u2019. The outer case was missing several pieces and was therefore rebuilt during restoration. Any surviving decoration was preserved. Today the instrument is in the collection of the Museo del Pianoforte Antico in Ala (Trento).<\/span><\/p>\n
