Carlo De Meglio – Naples 1826 Op.207

This fortepiano, made in Naples by replicating the features of the Viennese School, is one of the oldest known examples of this extraordinary Italian scene with over 100 proved builders Many important composers visited Naples, and we like to think that J. Field, who was in Naples in the 1830s, might have used instruments made in the city to perform his delicate nocturns.
