This small instrument – an inner-outer type – may have a Roman provenance. It has come with two 8’ stops, but it still bears the traces of the 4’ pins. Apparently, the latter was never carried out, as proven by the soundboard ribs that were cut out only in correspondence of the 8’. The outer case was missing several pieces and was therefore rebuilt during restoration. Any surviving decoration was preserved. Today the instrument is in the collection of the Museo del Pianoforte Antico in Ala (Trento).
